Terms and conditions
Consent to Treatment
By attending an appointment, you acknowledge that you willingly give consent to our physiotherapists to perform any and all necessary examinations and treatment procedures in accordance with their professional training, qualifications and understanding of your injury.
You understand that you have the opportunity to discuss the nature and purpose of your physiotherapy care with your physiotherapist before any treatment is performed, and that you may opt out of treatment at any time.
1. Treatment
- Physiotherapy involves physical treatment, which may include "hands on" treatment, among other treatment options.
- You have the right to choose the physiotherapist you wish to see, refuse treatment, or seek a second opinion at any time.
- There are risks associated with treatment, including stiffness and soreness, soft tissue injury, neurological complications, cerebrovascular injuries, skin irritations, burns and other minor complications.
- The chance of risk is lowered by a thorough assessment of your condition, and we take every precaution to minimise risk.
- In many cases, other treatment options exist. If your condition is not musculoskeletal in nature, or the risk of physiotherapy is considered too high, your physiotherapist may refer you to other forms of care outside their scope of practice.
- There may be risk in remaining untreated, including formation of adhesions, scar tissue and other degenerative changes, increased pain, chronic pain cycles, and loss of range of motion and function.
2. Consent to Obtain and Release Information
To speed up processing and management of your injury or condition, you accept it may be necessary to communicate details of your medical condition with treating practitioners, rehabilitation consultants, case managers, and solicitors involved in your case.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you give permission for Range Rehab to exchange such information about your injury, condition or claim, as well as significant past medical history, with people deemed necessary by Range Rehab. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we gather, use and disclose personal information.
3. Exclusion of Liability
The director of the practice and any employees shall not be held liable for, nor accept responsibility for, any injury, loss or damage sustained by any person resulting from treatments or procedures delivered in this practice, except where arising from negligence of the practice director or employees.
4. Privacy and Contact
- Range Rehab will send SMS or email confirmations for appointments.
- You may occasionally receive marketing or surveys from Range Rehab, used to improve our services and offer promotions.
- You have the right to opt out of SMS or email contact at any time.
- Your details are never shared with third parties except where necessary to support your claim or injury, as outlined above.
5. Payments and Billings
- Payment for services and items provided may be required on the day of your consultation.
- Payment can be made over the phone or at your visit; other arrangements can be discussed with admin staff at their discretion.
- No refunds are available on personal or healthcare items if you change your mind. If an item has a major fault, we'll refund or exchange it; for minor issues, we'll repair it within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Late Arrivals and Missed Sessions
- Arriving late but within your appointment window may still allow treatment for a reduced time.
- Missing your appointment or arriving outside your window may incur a full cancellation fee.
- Rescheduling within the same business day avoids a cancellation fee, subject to clinician availability.
- Cancellations or reschedules require a minimum of 8 hours' notice.
